How many sites may i promote?
You can registered up to 10 different sites.

Are rotators allowed?
Yes - as long as all included urls follow the rules and do not break frames.

Where do I find the site administration?
There is a Button within the login page, that you simply click and you go to site administration.

I registered a site, however no credits were used, why not?
The site must be first approved by us. New sites are processed 5-10 times a week. Make sure your site is set as 'Active', or else it won't receive any visit.

May i pause my account?
Yes. In the url administration area click on the first button on top. After that you'll be able to accumulate as many credits as you want, but they won't be used.

 

Where do I find the URL for the Viewbar?

You find the URL in your "Welcome" e-mail and in your Account. The URL reads: http://www.visitor-exchange.com/view.php?user=test Naturally you must replace " test " with your user name.

 
Where do I find my Referral link?

You find the link within your login page under the menu option "partnerprogramm".

I can't log in...

This can happen for one of the following reasons:
1. You did not activate your account, find the activation link in your "Welcome" e-mail. Simply click and your account is activated.
2. You use a very old Browser.
3. You offended three times the rules and your account got automatilcally suspended.

Yes, you may purchase credits, then request that your cautions be canceled.

 

I lost my password, what now?

Under the menu option Login is the option " password ". Here, you can be sent the password again, if you have forgotten it.

Is there a limit to the credits i may earn within a single day?

No.

 

Do I have to install anything?

No, the surf bar is in html format. Your browser is all you need.

I received a caution, why?
The reason for this is always under the de-activated site.

Are 10 seconds not too little?
No! According to a scientific study the surfer decides after 7 seconds whether a site is interesting.

What is the Blacklist?
Into the Blacklist go email address and site users that receive 3 cautions. The Blacklist is shared with other Webmasters, and the blacklisted user will also be deleted by other services.

What sites aren't allowed?
Warez sites, sites with more than one Popup, sites with Framebreakers or sites in any way against the law. Erotic sites please indicate so for registration! Erotic sites can be seen only by Users which choose to!

What do I do if I see a site that offends against these rules?
Click on 'Report Abuse' on the Viewbar or send us an by Mail.

Are there banners to use on my homepage to recruit new members?
Yes. On the Login page under "partnerprogramm", there is a link to the banners.

 

What is a PopUp?
A PopUp is if when entering or leaving the side a new window opens automatically.

What is a Framebreaker?

A Framebreaker (Framekiller) breaks the upper Frame to the View bar, thereby members will not be credited and site calls are interrupted.

 

According to my statistics I must have received - let's say - 762 new visitors today. My Counter indicates, however, only 513. Why?

This can have the following reasons: The Counter counts only Unique IPs, the counter resets its statistics after a period of time, your site was not attainable for a certain period or your side is very slow to load (can be because of your server, or it has too much data, (pics. etc.) and was therefore, not always completely loaded within the 10 seconds.

I would not like to receive a newsletter.

The newsletter informs you about important changes or news about visitor-exchange.com and cannot be cancelled, since this information could be very important for every user.

 

I would like to delete my account.

In the menu option "Login" you will find "delete account".
